Loads of things really -
From the IP address a website can discover your ISP and can work out which country you are from and which city your ISP is located.
Other things it can learn are -
CPU type:
Screen Width:
Screen Height:
Screen Available Width:
Screen Available Height:
Screen Color Depth:
The number of web pages visited in a session. The date and time on your computer. Certain software youve got installed such as shockwave, real, windows media etc.
It can also tell what the last website you visited. Once someone has your IP they can trace your session. Javascripting capabilities.
Depends alot on your individual security settings, but if settings are high this will restrict your browsing capabilities.
