Mathieu Flamini. HELP WANTED

Can anyone give me an assessment of him?? Strengths and weaknesses. Is he any good!??

He's really good, he was in the young team of Marseille last year, and he had his chance and became quickly a starter nd played the UEFA cup(loose in final), he also played the toulon U21 tournament with national team, and won it, he was one of the best in french team...

he's defensive midfielder, but he can play about everywhere in the middle, his pass is good, he plays simple, he run everywhere...sometimes he reminds me Pires on few actions, when he dribble...but of course he still young, he have only play about 20 matches in pro...

and I'm angry he leaved us, angry about our stupid president, he didn't sign him a pro contract at the time...sad...he's a true marseillais, he could have benn the symbol of OM...it's a shame but good luck to him...

He has been with Marseille since he was 5 and made his 1st time debut last December against Toulouse in Ligue 1. He then made a further 15 or so appearances under Jose Anigo's side.He also featured in the UEFA Cup 9 times, pretty impressive for a 20 year old!!! He picked up a UEFA Cup loser's medal as Marseille lost to Valencia of Spain.

After Marseille manager Jose Anigo branded Mathieu a "traitor" for leaving the Velodrome for the money. But, Flamini said the club didn't show enough desire to keep him. Personally, I think that is rubbish, but what do I care, i support the GUNNERS!!!!! What Flamini said could be found on this site from skysports.
