The game started today and i thought it would be best to open a new thread. I hope Olaf doesn't mind that i copied this (with slight updates) from his old thread.
There are two games, the interactive and the classic game (you can win prizes in the classic game, btw.) You have to take part in both.
Rules:
You have 30 M for a team in a 1-3-5-2 formation. Each position requires a backup (in other words: the average sum you can spend for a player is 2 M). You can pick a maximum of 3 players from one team and a maximum of 5 non UEFA Europeans. Only starters will be calculated, reserve players move up automatically. After entering the team there is no possibility to pick up new players, even if one of your team members leaves the club.
Points will be awarded for the kicker rating. 3.5 is the rating for 0 pts; every 0.5 step better is rewarded with 2 pts (so that rating 1.0 brings 10 pts) and every 0.5 step worse costs 2 pts (so that rating 6.0 brings –10 pts). Scored goals are rewarded with 6 (goalie), 5 (defender), 4 (midfield) or 3 points (forward). A straight red card is fined with 6 and a yellow-red card with 3 pts.
Interactive Version:
This is the game we play in the community (not set up yet). You need to pick a team for the Classic game first. You can pick your team absolutely independent from the Classic Version, i.e. you will see your players of the ‘Classic Team’ being entered for the Interactive Version, but you can change it this time. There is no draft for the community, which means that theoretical one player could be in all 18 (maximum number of participants) teams.
Additional Rules: 3-6-8-5 has to be picked with 42.5 M. Max. is 4 of a team and 6 non EU foreigners, but 3 of a team and 5 non EU foreigners may only be in the lineup. Changes for the points: also players, who come in during the game, are counted. Every player of your lineup, who is really playing, gets 2 points. An assist is rewarded with one point. The player of the game wins 3 pts. In the interactive version you can change your lineup.
For taking part from matchday 1 on, the team has to be picked until August 6.

- You can trade now ! It will be possible to sell (and buy) players in the winterbreak. The new transfer window will be between December 13 and January 12. You can sell/buy one player per position (4 players max.)
- You can also change formation now (last season it was always 1-3-5-2, like in the classic game).
Great changes, if you ask me.
