sweat under armpits: shave yer pits
sweat down face: shave your head
sweat anyplace else: shave anyplace else
or, alternatively...
learn to ref a winter sport!
As for shaving your head to stop head sweat... I've been a baldie now for almost 10 years (mostly by choice) and it doesn't help me that much. I'm sure it evaporates faster that way, but if you're really pouring the sweat out, nothing's going to stop it except maybe a thick headband.

I don't know where the stereotype comes from. I'm Asian, my parents are from Taiwan which is pretty damn close to tropical, I've lived most of my life in either Houston, TX (hot and humid) or Dubai, UAE (very hot and still quite humid) and I still sweat more than most people I know. Interestingly enough, I'm already sweating profusely within 2 minutes of starting to warm up, but I tend to hit peak performance level only after warming up and then playing for 60 minutes or so.

You all misheard what I said:
"Sometimes I like to say this is because I'm half Asian, but really, that's not true."
It's not true. I was just putting it out as a common stereotype for Asian people. I personally don't sweat a whole lot. My mom, who is Japanese, never sweats. Her parents don't sweat either. However, her cousin sweats like mad.
Race has nothing to do with it. I never said it did.
And as for salt tablets, go ahead and take those if you plan on dehydrating and collapsing on the field.

I have axillary hyperhidrosis and it blows. I sweat through my nice shirts. Thirty minutes after I come out of the shower sitting in a cool room I am sweating like crazy.
