download manager query?

for the last few years ive been useing gozilla 3.9 but it's packed full of spyware so ive just downloaded freshdevices download manager but after a few quick downloads im not sure if i really like it.so my question to you guy's 'n' gal's is what do you use and honestly would you recomend it.

Now that I'm on DSL, I don't bother. I think FireFox has it's own built-in download manager (at least, it allows restarts but not "swarming" / alternative servers).

nice one for the link bud,i'll have to check it out,i've got broadband myself but a good manager is always handy for multiple downloads and just in case the server goes down,which is always a right pain.

anyone use or have any experiance's that fresh devices one i just got?

I'm with Foosinho, I use Opera and it has a built in manager.
