Since Chivas USA is going for the Hispanic market, it is only obvious that the games will be shown on Telemundo or Univison right?

Im guessing Telemundo.

That would be great exposure for the league. I know the Fire had a few games on Telemundo last year. If Chivas USA could get their games on Telemundo on a regular basis, It would be a a great way to make sure it reached the mexican market.

It wouldn't be with the national networks themselves, unless they did a deal with the whole league (always possible, especially with C-USA).

I would imaigne one of the two's local LA stations would try to get the local TV deal. I'm sure they'd love to syndicate said matches to as many other markets as possible, but I would think the league would put its foot down on that, akin the MLS with the Cubs on WGN.

A station owned by Telemundo (not ch. 52, the actual affiliate) is airing a handful of matches this year. I don't know for how long that deal goes on. I would think Univision, with it's two channels in the LA market (Telefutura being the other one), is the favorite, IMO.

I expect Chivas USA will air on KWHY ch.22 for all season :DI really like their show "Galaxy Deportivo" on Saturdays at 3PM PDT.. It's not just informative but witty and entertaining.. (I sound like an ad..:).)
They do seem to have more than their share of audio problems with their Galaxy broadcasts, however. Last one was okay.

Galaxy Deportivo is pretty cool.

Werent they the ones that showed when Alexis Lalas made sigi look like an idiot in Korea or some Asian country? I remember KCAL 9 didnt pass it but CH. 22 did.

This would be great for the league's television rating if LA Chivas would be nationally shown, although I imagine too that it will (at first) be exclusively to the Los Angeles market. But the bottom line here is that it's going to be a big market and many advertisers, should the numbers come out big, will be interested in spending their advertising money if they know a lot more people are watching, no matter what their ethnic background. On top of that, a good number of non-MLS Chivas fans could suddenly be turned on to not just the Chivas team, but MLS in general. The more support the better.
