The yet untitled Supporters Group will be founded later this week.
If you are in the SLC area and didn't get a PM invitation then PM or email me. Put MLS or something in the title line so I don't delete you if I don't recognize your email.
Keeping with the SLCMLS protocol: by invitation only... unless you want to crash

Bump. This is TOMORROW. I'm going to try and make it, but it is looking doubtful.

When the Galaxitives come to town, Dan Loney would like to see this sign...

Well,
It is official... we now have a nameless supporters group to go with our nameless team. We had a meeting and got some basic things work out from our end and will be sending our co-presidents to meet with the front office people next week. Thanks to those of you who came, you will be getting an update of minutes and the plan from here in the next couple of days. If you are not on the list, contact Blitzz Fan and he can put you on the list. Please contact me if you are interested in getting season tickets in the supporters section.

In response to your heartless lack of character, let me quote one of the great social commentaries of our time, Fat Albert:
"You are like school on a Saturday - NO CLASS."
Seriously, man, pull your heart out of your A$$ and have a little respect for some people who have most likely lost a very dear person in their lives forever. Imagine if it was your own sister or something. Would this $hit be funny then? So have a little respect.

So have a little respect.
SLC is an expansion market, so you probably missed the "Gori & Diaz Arce, don't drop the soap!" resets and the "Lassiter, give me back my TV!" takes.
Saeyd is just jealous because we get to live in a place where murder is unusual; which puts us into stark contrast with Chicago.
Some things that are true are not very useful.

Saeyd is just jealous because we get to live in a place where murder is unusual...Do you mean that people there commit their murders in unusual and creative ways or that is is rarer than most cities? :)
To be honest, I lived in SLC for a few years and the only thing regarding law I didn't like was the fact that most Utah drivers do not look for pedestrians before they make a left turn like most do here in California.

How was the overall tone and reception by the future FO when you guys came knocking?

Do I have to start putting arrows and 'CLICK HERE's in with the smileys now?

My name isn't Saeyd, and I don't live in Chicago.
My home town makes yours look like Detroit.

The team doesn't even have a name and the supporters are already smacking each other.
Looks to me like SLC is solidly a part of MLS now.:)
Not long before we see a 'yeah, well, where's YOUR team in the standings?' comeback.

So, enough smacking each other. Dysko or Blitzz fan, do you have minutes to the meeting?

Apparently they haven't figured out that showing concern and respect for pedestrians is a neighborly, family value kind of thing. :) Thanks for the heads up on that, good to know if I move. I wonder if they like to run over bike commuters with crazy bumper stiker slogans on their bike like "Environmental stickers don't mean ********** when they're on a car."

As long as SLC beats the Rapids, it'll all be good. I'm sure like any good MLS city they'll also despise the Galaxy.

That's the spirit! I drive a delivery van all day for work, and I hit about a dozen pedestrians every day. No, really I haven't ever seen any problems as far as turning left (or right) and not checking for pedestrians. Perhaps Jabinho mistook the red hand to mean "Go" and the green walking hand to mean "stop."

You haven't noticed? Of course not and you're making my point as the guilty never notice. It's a real problem and they even addressed it in the papers in SLC about 6 years ago.. I got frustrated at work because when I would drive the news van and I was waiting for pedestrians to clear before making a left, someone in the van would always ask what I was waiting for..
Trust me. Any Californian who moves there will notice.

Why do we even put titles on these threads?! :(
The meeting was fun/productive. It was a lot of stuff that we all pretty much agreed on but it was good to have it actually stated.
We'll distribute minutes pronto. Get me your emails to be included.

I would loved to come, but I'm only 14. Can't drive for a year and a half.
Just so everyone knows, I would be willing to make a supporters group website, and just so It's official, I would like to be in the supporters club-

You don't belong in a Supporters Club. Perhaps you should join a Boosters Club or Fan Club, instead.
