Okily,
Im of two minds as to if Im gonna go to this or not. On the one hand it wont be the regular boys cos of Euro 2004, the fact its a friendly, and the fact that its not league opposition.
On the other hand Tickets to Highbury are rarer than hens teeth and I'll take any game I can get...though with the ground not being segregated I'd like to know if a good ammount of gunners will be in atendance before I make up my mind for sure.
Obviousy this probably doesnt apply to our overseas chums but:
Is anyone going to go to watch Arsenal?
Is anyone going to go to watch Barnet?
Is anyone going to go just to kick my head in?
Any other thoughts?

I might go, because I might be on Holiday in France around that time..
But non-the-less it's a good chance to see all our new signings and some of our top youngsters play for the first time this season.

Ive been to this match for the past 5 seasons (partley coz the grounds only 15 mins away and partley coz it's a great atmousphere)
You will find it is a very friendly match with a good lot of support from both clubs. The Arsenal contingent who know each other end up at the Red Lion pub, just at the bottom of the hill from the tube station. All meeting up before we go on to Austria. Make sure though that you go early to get your ticket next Sunday. It is ALWAYS a sell out and id advise going a couple of hours earlier than it says as the queues go all round the ground.

OK, bought my ticket today. Unfortunately, this is going to be my last easy trip to see the Gunners :( ... I'm moving back to the US. Very sad to be leaving North London (especially since I had use of a friend's season ticket for the past 2 years), but happy to be returning to Malibu beach. That said, I'm not sure how I'm going to cope. This trip to Barnet is like an alcoholic's last fling before entering rehab...
Hi, my name is VaVaVoom and I'm an Arsenalholic. :D

Ahhhhh, the season starts tomorrow :D
Pre-match talk on Arsenal.com says our new Spanish goalkeeper may get the start. Also, it should be a debut for our other new signings, RvP and Lupoli. Based on the line-up from last year's game, Arsene will play the big boys for 45 minutes, and that means we may see Pennant & Jeffers (who are both in camp). Also, there were a few "unknown" trialists included in the squad last year... Clichy & Yaya Toure (Kolo's little bro)! It will be interesting to see if there are trialists included this year, and if they can make the grade.
I'll be there with my camera to take some final pics before relocating back to the beach in SoCal. I'll post a link to them over the weekend along with any thoughts on the players (and the new kit  )

Barnet take the lead on a goal by Graham, but Reyes ties it up 1-1 after 18 minutes.
UPDATE
And just as I finish this, Reyes slots home a second. 1-2 after 19 minutes.
