Since i have the YES channel, Which shows all Manchester United Premiership games and classics, this is the team that i have watched the most. Other teams i have only seen through ESPN coverage of Champions League games. And ESPN only shows one game. So Manchester United would be my pick

In the last 15 years Real Madrid have won 3 European Cups. Milan have also won 3 European Cups in the same time frame. And if you were broaden it to the last 16 years Milan have 4 European Cups. Real Madrid are undoubtedly the most successful club in European history. But their Euopean Cup triumphs are seperated by a long barren period of no titles. They won 6 titles from 1956-1966, and 3 titles from 1998-2002. In between they didn't win anything.

Its possible to measure the popularity by nation in millions and then make some sort of extrapolation.
The most known club in Europe is Real Madrid without doubts, then teams like AC Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Inter,Bayern Munchen etc etc etc

In europe you must list other teams too, like Liverpool, Schalke, Dortmund, Porto, Monaco, Belgrad, Marseille....

Ajax is big, (although it is no longer the success squad it was 10 years ago), it has a huge 'network' that spans all over the globe. Youngsters from, basically, everywhere want to join the Ajax-youth. Arsenal and Chelsea are big, too. Just as big, or even bigger than, Liverpool I think.

ok let me give you the answer straight away, ok im a Arsenal Fc fan, but im going to be honest without doubt the most popular club in europe and in the world is manchester utd, they have 3 or 4 times the fan base as any of there nearest rivals such as inter milan or real madrid or b.munich and others. Ive been to japan many times, and all i see is fans or just every day normal people wearing a club jersey form either the english premier league or spain etc. MAn u is the most popular, and as long as its a english club im not too upset.

from an english view the most popular dutch side is psv and ajax, simply they are a great side which prevides the premier league with top class duth young talent.
(such as... van persie, robben,van nistelrooy etc)
the most popular spanish side is a tough one, theres madrid because of the stars, barca, but valencia is starting to get the credit they deserve.

french team thats popular, would be maircey(dont know how to spell it lol) and monaco plus paris saint germain.

italy, i often see people wear juventus shirts around wear i live plus like as milan and inter tops too.
