That sounds great - wish our club had a DVD out featuring all the promotion highlights and the mobbed bus tour through town. Oh wait... we do

Does a UK DVD work over here in the USA?

Only if you have a region 2 DVD player

Only if you have a region 2 DVD playerI thought, given the small-time nature of club-shop-produced DVDs, that they would make them region free. When I asked last year, they didn't know exactly what I was talking about (but they thought they'd sold some to Australia or something), so I bought it. However, I got it home and it didn't play properly.

There was a place in my neighborhood that did PAL to NTSC conversions; can similar conversions be done between DVD regions?

Haven't heard about getting conversions done - I'm sure its possible though. What might be more possible is to see if the club can have a dozen or so made for region 1. I know the clubs with big global followings (Celtic, Liverpool) sell multiple versions. I'll try and email the club about it.

Won't that play on either a Region 1 or Region 2 DVD player?
