Wow, the complete record of NTC wiped out in a flash. Years and years (well, months and months) of witty NTC posts and sigs have ceased to exist.
We must not forget them. They are our legacy.
On the other hand, I can think of a couple of MLS coaches/GM who wake up every day hoping their records will be erased in a poof of smoke. So, maybe we can figure out a way to turn this to our advantage.

On a side note, will the mysterious disappearance of all-star status (and, in some cases, post count after the Crash of 2002) affect PT or player "statistics" this season?

Man, that's the truth. After reading your post, I went back through my browser cache to try and find draft/roster information to help jumpstart the "rebuilding effort." I'd encourage NTC regulars to do the same. (Alas, I couldn't find an old NTC page with our roster, but will keep looking.)
For users of IE5, open up a new browser window and then click "File --> Work Offline". Then, click on "History" on your menubar and click on "Search" in the left tile. You can use this to search for old web pages stored temporarily on your hard drive (e.g., try typing in NTC in the box and hitting "search"). Stored pages are marked by the darker colored text.

O.K., not to b**** to much, but I seem to be missing from the newly posted roster list. Did I get traded or something sometime earlier in offseason and not know it? I'm feeling kind 'o like Ahn after the Perugia incident. ;)
