Sturm Graz used to have a decent side a few years ago... are they still decent or was this a bad showing by BVB? We barely got a draw in this game. Any idea why Gambino did not start? :(

Sturm Graz has indeed a decent team and they are going to start their league this week AFAIK. So they are already done with preseason prepring. BVB just started preparation. On the other hand Graz played a very young team in the second half (no one older than 23 years). Odonkor, Oliseh and especially Evanilson were BVB's best players against Graz. Warmuz is likely to become/stay No.1.

Gambino got a cold and as this match was the last one before next Saturday's Intertoto Cup clash with KRC Genk and as Gambino is still suspended for 1 match (due his red card in Sochaux last season), van Marwijk tested the team that is likely to start on Saturday, I guess.
