I'm actually getting sick of the same old voices year after year after year. I dont mind watching the cricket on Fox when we tour just to listen to someone other than bloody Mark Taylor!

Stumps - Day 1

Australia totally dominated play on the opening day thanks to a double century opening partnership between Matthew Hayden and Justin Langer. Hard to see us losing the game from here.

Australia: 2 for 370 ( 90 overs)

Langer 159 not out
Hayden 117
Ponting 22
Martin 56 not out

Try Channel 9 (CH9 or Network Nine) in AUS.

The last time there was a test in Sydney (my home town), the CH9 TV coverage was blacked out, so I could listen to the CH9 commentary on the web.

Also they have a number of video summaries on their web site for various articles.

Cheers.

Hard to see the Aussies losing the game from here, the only question is whether we have enough time to win it.

Sri lanka 1st innings: 455 all out

Australia 2nd innings: 2 for 112 (lead 174)
Hayden 37 not out

Australia have just over 11 overs to get the last 3 Sri Lankan wickets to win the test and take out the series 2-0. Shane Warne also needs just 2 wickets to overtake Muralitharan as the leading wicket taker in the history of test cricket.

Come on Warney!!! :D

SHANE WARNE HAS EQUALLED THE RECORD, COME ON WARNEY, YOU CAN DO IT!! :D

Australia need 2 more wickets to win the match with just over 8 overs remaining. Sri Lanka are 8 for 174.

Sri Lanka were able to hang on for a draw in this match, meaning Australia wins the series 1-0.

Shane Warne has equalled Muttiah Muralitharan as the leading wicket taker in the history of test cricket... a fantastic achievement by Warne.

Match scores:

Australia 517 and 9 for 292 declared
Sri lanka 455 and 8 for 181

Match drawn.
