By default this will be as deep as Millwall has gotten in this cup in quite some time.

Vale don't make a habit of going too far in the League Cup (whatever guise it comes under) so I can't get too excited about a tie against doncaster Rovers. :o

QPR v Swansea
Interesting storyline here, as Swansea's manager, Kenny Jackett, was #2 to QPR manager Ian Holloway for the last few seasons until taking over at Swansea toward the end of last season. He's got one former QPR player on trial right now and made noises about wanting a couple of others before they signed at a higher level (several returned to QPR and one went to Franchise FC).

Hopefully West Ham doesn't lose another embarrassing cup match to a small team.

Here are the Carling Cup (http://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk/page/CarlingCupDetail/0,,10794~544374,00.html) referee appointments if you're interested in who's refereeing your team in Round 1. :)

Another interesting story is that Stockport and Sheffield United have the same owners/board members...... Now they have played each other a few times recently and Sheffield have always won..........
