Slovakian League

Hi,

I am researching the Slovakian 1st League and was wondering if anyone out there has any expertise in this field.

I live in the UK and find it difficult to gain any info on all of the teams. I require information about all teams in the top Slovakian division especially who the captains are, the penalty takers, the free kick takers and the corner takers.

Also if you could tell me about recent transfers in the league that would be excellent :)

hi I`m from Slovakia so if there are any experts on this subject here it`s me :-) . I don`t think there are any relevant websites about the Slovakian league because internet is still in diapers in Slovakia :-( it`s a shame but I just can`t see an improvement on this field anytime soon. I`ll be glad to help you but I can`t tell you much info off the top of my head because I`m not a die-hard follower of the Slovakian footballing scene since most of the teams are piss poor. So if you could be more specific as to the information you need it would be helpful. However, the biggest transfer in recent years has just happened a couple of days ago, Dovicovic (a number 7 type of midfielder, actually has some potential, one of the best scorers in the league, don`t know his first name tho, free kick taker) has joined Djurgardens IF from ZTS Dubnica on loan. He is set to replace Kim Kallstrom in the Swedish side should his loan spell be fruitful. The "magnitude" of this "biggest transfer in recent years" kind of gives you an idea about Slovakian football :-) .Also, SK Slovan Bratislava, the historically most succesful and biggest Slovakian club has been relegated to the second division, the result of some serious fraudulent behavior from the board members. So, I`ll do some research (which is gonna be easy since there are only 10 clubs in the 1st division and even less good players in the league ;-) ) and post an update. Should happen in a couple of days time.

The information I need really is about the head coaches (managers) of each team and what tactics tactics they use.
Also information on the newly promoted Rimavska Sobota would be helpful, on their squad, manager and stadium:)

Also any information on up and coming stars like Juraj (found his first name:) ) Dovicovic would be helpful.

I heard about Slovan Bratislava also, it's a shame that a team with such a great past has been relegated. Which team do you support??
