They need to load up some offensive weapons, and maybe get some youth into defence.....

Although Bolo Zenden and Yakubu are still main transfer targets

Not confirmed yet but listening to Talksport I heard that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is close to signing aswell. He was at the Riverside today.

Viduka and Maccarone will be a combustible duo.

Boro should look at adding two young defenders (up and comers)
And maybe two quality midfielders.

two up and coming defenders? we have some of the best young defenders in the premier league. Chris Riggott, Andrew Davies, then you have some of the younger one's Matthew Bates, David Wheater.

As a stateside BORO fan, I wish the lads well this upcoming season. With some name players like Viduka and Hasselbaink maybe FOXSports World will show more of their games here than the tired old trio of Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Middlesbrough has made some interesting signings. Looks like they will be a pretty good squad, especially if they keep Zenden. I look forward to seeing them this year.

I honestly think Boro are capable of winning the carling cup again or maybe the FA Cup. Achieving a top 6 spot in the league and even getting to the quarter finals of Europe!

Ive been told the only thing stopping the Zenden transfer going through at the minute is the fact if he stays another year at Chelsea he gets a loyalty bonus. Boro have agreed to pay him this fee in his signing on fee so the deal should go through very shortly

I see the reason for optimism, great offseason signings bar HasselBAKE, but i do believe only one of those dreams can be achieved not al simultaneously.
