FOR the People that Critize Greece....

Just a question for you people that critize Greece....

I was listening to some radio show today ..

and It was wondering what happened to players like Figo, Zidane, Rolando, and whomeever else gets paid MILLIONS of dollars for there talent.

and They wondered why.. they coudln't pass through the greek defence..

why is it??

Also i have seen the last couple of games twice, everyone says the greek players are always in the box,, I think you guys need some prescription glasses and open your eyes a bit more, and YOULL see the greeks playing everywhere on the field LIKE FOOTBALL is supposed to be.

so why are you guys wasting your time critizing greece when they had both offence and defence.

Can't win just a game on Defence.. you need to the offence to win a game as well and greece showed they had both....

Luck = maybe 1 game

After two three games LUCK isn't a factor
it's called skill
it's called playing together

it's called freeking football no matter how u look at it

i agree 100%. they were the most organized team in euro2004. brilliant defense, great teamwork, and good offense that capitalised on their chances. anyone that questions the quality of their game needs to open their eyes...they were all awesome matches.

zidane, henry, ronaldo are no doubt incredible players...but the defense that they met in euro2004 did a better job in stopping them.

offense sells tickets, defense wins games. period.

Men all over the field? so what. They managed to have 8 men within 30 yards of the goal for more minutes than any other team at Euro.

ok, I don't know that. But other than Latvia, or Sweeden when they played the Netherlands, Greeks didn't have much competition when it came to packing in numbers. SO they left home every now and then for a CK? So what. The greeks played defense like mad. Nothing wrong with that; they were playing to their one hope of winning. And it worked. Don't get so damn defensive about playing so insanely defensively (pun not intended).

Isn't it time to go and celebrate?

Isn't it time to enjoy the brief time on top?

Stop worrying about the detractors and enjoy the moment. Your team followed a clear strategy throughout the tournament and it led to an unlikely title.

When you have the stones to stick to your guns and play your game and it works, then you have done your homework and played with discipline and reaped the rewards.

Who really gives a sh__ if people like it or not? I did not really enjoy the final as much as I thought I would, but my preference is a more offensive style of football.

People will always try to piss on your parade when you win. Be confident in what your team has accomplished and let the naysayers do their business.

Is Greece the best team in Europe? I personally do not think so, but since they only decide this championship every four years, they are the champs until 2008. I did notice that Greece jumped 21 spots up to 14 in the world rankings.

So a European title, a significant jump in world ranking and excitement and joy for the whole of Greece. Not bad for 3 weeks work, eh?

Congratulations to the Greek team and Greek fans everywhere.

but i think the people that keep putting critism down greeks , should move on and get out a little bit more and see stats and do some research

because people are bitter, and jealous they got nothing to do

anyway good that is was two new teams playin gin the final

i agree they should just concentrate celebrating as this will be the last time for the next 50 years that everybody remembers about them. let's first hope they somehow make it to the world cup

OK-Let me clarify that by celebrating and enjoying the moment does not mean sitting in here talking sh_t, (no matter what kind of comments the detractors are posting).

My goodwill is starting to run out. There is a good saying here in the states, that when you or your team wins, "act like you've been there before". That means show class as a winner, no matter the circumstances.
