No rest for the weary.

According to US Soccer the first training session starts tonight (Monday) in Chicago. So for a friendly a rather long evaluation, even though the first day might be physical checks after this weekend's games.

I'd expect there will be ample opportunity to show off before next Sunday.

Anyone living in the Chicago area. Can you please see if you can get into training sessions and post reports?

I have a question:
I think the SJ players (LD, Ching, Mullan) are scheduled to arrive on Thursday, but with Mullan getting a red card, will he be showing up early? Is there any way to find out?

According to article on ussoccer.com---Looks like everyone is already in camp.

CHICAGO (Monday, July 5 , 2004) – After the MLS weekend, all of the players called in for the U.S. Men’s National Team's match against Poland on July 11 at Soldier Field have arrived in the Windy City and will conduct their first practice on Monday evening.

OK, MLSnet reports that LD, Ching, and Mullan will report to camp after the Dallas game. That's why, with Mullan's red, I thought he might get an early trip out to Chicago...

Yeah, I read that too, but it's gotta be wrong. There's no way Donovan and Ching (not sure about Mullan, with the red card) are in camp. They're going to play for the Quakes on Wednesday and get to camp on Thursday.

Unless they've been dropped from the roster. :(

Bump

Come on you Fire fans cough up some info on yesterday's scrimmage! A column on Gaven stated it was 0-0.

Someone in the windy City must have some feedback on who played where and on well.
