Bringing fresh blood to my squad.

So far I got these players that are amazing in the game.

Ze Mario (free in the game)
Lionel Morgan (plays for england team, don't remember de name of the team)
Montolivo (plays for Atalanta, Italy club)
Lewis Buxton (plays for Portsmount, English team)
Cacheira (free in the game)

Which version are you playing?

A couple players I usually try and buy are Labinot Harbuzi (Malmö, Sweden) and Marcelo Mattos (Mirassol, Brasil). Both are pretty raw, but well worth the investment if you give them time.

If anyone is looking for a scorer, Johann Porhallson from Iceland is a killer. He has pace out of this world and scores at ease. I have had success with him in England's Division 2 while my friend has had success in Division 1 and the Premiership with him. He is cheap too. In fact, I got him for free.

porannin brynjar kristjansson is another top Icelandic striker who is also free.

For top central defenders, look at Kim Jaggy of Grasshopper, Michael Dawson of Nottingham Forest, and Jerel Ifil of Watford.

Whats up with all these sketchy Icelandic and Faroese players that are too good to be true. I swear, if the Iceland in my game plays in a World Cup or Euro Cup, they would advance far. And they're all filthy young too!!

I agree with you. There are some really good Icelandic players on this game. I always have at least one of my scouts in Scandinavia checking things out up there. They are good and cheap which is always good.

after about one season you really see his stats shoot up....and that's when he's just with the U-20s/reserves

Every game is going to have similar players but many of their atributes change when you start a new game. Use the CM Scout utility to really look over your database with a fine tooth comb. You have to download the correct version for the game you're using. It's really easy to use. Look for it on www.sigames.com. If it is not there I can suggest other places.

I have been playing CM 03/04 and have been unable to locate Freddy Adu. A Quick search brings up nothing. Any tips on where he is in the game?

You'll need to pick up one of the non-SI updates, such as the Calcio update. Adu and all the other Americans playing in MLS are not in the official database due to legal reasons.

Also, you might want to hold off getting an update until the summer transfer window ends as there will be a load of new updates afterwards.
