It seems that Gaspart and the Barcelona press are starting to ask some serious questions about Real Madrid's financing..

It's about time someone did. But in this article, I don't see hard questions being asked, just pointing out the obvious unethical Real Madrid finance practices, and saying to go ahead and win anyway.

Gaspart better be damned careful. Someone might open up Barca's books just as easy and check what La Caixa has been doing for them.

Or any other major club in Spain for that matter.

Just a warning. Don't call someone else out unless you're prepared to show yours as well.

You are right HalaMadrid. There are people in jail for that case - some people say that there is no a chance that Nunez - previous Barca president - left the presidency when the case was hotter.

Other question will be, why a public television - TV3 - finances Barcelona when is paid by all the spaniards?

But the only thing that they do is cry. They must watch theirself to solved their problems instead of watching the others. In my opinion, they can follow thus by many years. It is good for Real Madrid

... and the sale of the training grounds was clean?

Paul Whoever said it was? My point is whether it was or not it's irrelevant...anyone who calls Madrid out on the carpet best be prepared to drop their drawers as well. And it's not just Madrid and Barca guilty here.

I know this doesn't apply to Paul, but damn, will everyone stop calling their land sale 'their training ground'? Just because the British press says it was, doesn't make it so, and there was more to it than that.

Yes it was.

Because the city of Madrid got more benefit (and not just economical) from the deal than Real Madrid.

And don't forget that Madrid is spending less money in signings than Barça...

Now, when questioned by people who might actually know, its only "whoever said it was?". . .

Real are more concerned with making a huge splash on the transfer market, than improving their side. Defence wins championships, not overpriced beach football losers.

Does anyone remember who won the Champions League last year? ;)

Piss off troll.

I realize your not happy with the results of your choice of sides. Calm down.

Well I'm not sure what language that post was in but I am calm, thank you.

The reason for calling you a troll is this is the 5th time. It looks like you're going around posting nonsense and trying to piss people off.

But I doubt anybody will.

Where are we going with this? On this thread the subject is how Real are going above and beyond, concerning both sighnings and finances.

Facts seem to deny your last statement, don't you think? But it's true that Florentino is mainly concerned with signing players whose equipations are massively sold.

envy is the word.envidia
nothing but envidia.
I wouldn't lose sleep over the stupid things that gaspart says, he's an idiot and no one pays any attention to the crap that comes out of his mouth(is it really a mouth?)
now gil joined in saying gaspart is right, this is the guy who called gaspart cancer a few years ago. a guy who has been to jail so many times(can't remember)
watching barcelona play at. madrid last week you feel sorry for both. gaspart and gil know their teams won't
win anything and they're crying because they can't keep up with madrid.
lopera is another one, he's
saying that betis- real madrid won't be televised,
because he's owed money. he would't do this if betis was playing any other team.that's the only way he could make the headlines.
I was hoping madrid will have a peaceful year, but the signing of ronaldo will turn every game into hell.
everybody was hoping that madrid would lose to español, but seeing the ease with which madrid (witout even playing hard)
dismissed them, started this new war.
a little bit of history now during the franco era, barcelona made some deal with the city that enabled them to make lots of money
with the caudillo's blessing.

Are the signings even that much money, total? Barcelona has bought a lot of players in the last couple years that surely must've costed more than zidane and ronaldo (and figo supposedly was bought with perez's own money??). And even more extreme: Atletico Madrid. Gil buys a new team every year. But then, he has been in jail for precisely what we're talking about and more, so it makes sense to investigate the other teams just as hard.

You're talking about the sale of the Les Corts stadium, right?

What!?!?!?

A Catalan rag accusing Madrid of financial malfeasance?

M'estic totalment sorprendit!!!!

Gaspart is soon to be that senile old man walking around naked from the waist down without any clue that he's flying free in the breeze.
