I am just very curious what my fellow Bundesliga supporters think might make the difference in allowing us to see our Bundesliga clubs going farther regularly in the Champions League.
First off, it seems even Bayern Munich is just quite content to make the quarter finals.
What needs to happen for clubs to go farther on a regular basis? I know the EPL and La Liga have tons of money but I want to believe that it is possible.
My 2nd question would be what will it take for clubs other than just Bayern Munich to do this. It seems that so many of the clubs are for the most part very young. Many do well in the Bundesliga in this modern Bundesliga where there seems to be great parity but then right after they earn that European spot, players want to move on to the "big" clubs.
That club might then just get one year in Europe and that would be minus some of the players that got them there.
Would it then take a consistent team system that would keep you regularly there where you could plug in any player that you might add to replace those who left?
