Man oh man, this tournament has cause me more heartbreak than all past girlfriends combined and provided for several nervous breakdowns. Nothing seems to have gone right for me this year, when it comes to my favorite club and national teams.
All the teams I supported have been eliminated and my least favorite team is in the final. That's football, I know but I just can't help but feel very emotional. How is everyone else dealing with this?

Well after my team got eliminated early I haven't really cared for the tournament. Actually I've been little disappointed at the quality of play but it always seems to happen like this as you get closer to the final.

Well, since Norway didn't qualify, I've been cheering for Sweden, Denmark, and the two huge underdogs: Greece and Latvia. I'm glad to see Greece doing well and I was estatic when I saw the 2-2 scoreline from the Sweden-Denmark game to send Italy packing and push both teams into the next round! That was probably the best moment of the tournament for me. :D

As a long suffering Greek fan I understand how you feel
at the moment My club is doing well so of course I am happy, as for the tourny I guess it depends on who you cheer for that makes you like it or not
,and that is just human nature and very normal

Despite all that, I'm very happy for Greece and the Greek fans. I just hope Romania and Austria can sum up to something in the near or distant future, although it looks doubtful.

This has to be one of the stupiest comments ever!!! Defense??? The only defensive team there is Greece!! Portugal is not defensive, Holland is not defensive and the Czechs are not defensive!! Sometimes when you're up you have to tighten up and defend but I haven't seem much defensive football!! and about the diving!! it's not like Holland doesn't Dive!! I remeber Robben getting a card for his diving! and what about Van Nistelroy?? he dives all the time. Yeah Ricardo was wasting time but it's not like you guys wouldn't do it lol. Everyone does that, don't blame the style or the opposing team or blame the refs blame yourselves!! Portugal played much better!! you guys didn't even deserve a 2-1 scoreline!!

actually its somehow in the meditorenean mentality to come up with some theatrical skills, u dont really see that in mid/north eropean teams much. But I still think Latin American teams are way ahead, diving doesn`t get more pathetic then f.e. Rivaldo`s gems.

OK so you hate Portugal, thats fair as its your perogative. For me, Ive always been a fan creative minded teams like Portugal, Holland, Spain, and Czech. So for me its been one of the GREATEST tournaments. Attacking teams (with the exception of Greece, who i still think are deserving) winning and making the Final four.
I think England still did well this tournament despite their loss, and i give them full credit. They possess great finnishing, but they lack the creativity and flair of these other teams. And im not saying they're a dull team to watch by no means. But im not a big fan of the English style of play, one too many long balls for me, im more of a fan of the shorter passing.
So thumbs up to a very entertaining tournament... the only ones that dislike it are the ones that are discontent to see their teams bow out, which stands to reason.

This tournamnet wasn't a total flop, it just sucks that none of my favorite teams have really accomplished anything or played great.
I really enjoy Greece's shock performances, I happen to enjoy the way they play too, being a Germany fan, and hope they win the tournament. The Czechs have been entertaining to watch, it's just a shame they got eliminated the way they did. I think Nedved leaving the game really affected their creativity, gameplay and explosiveness.
