Valencia trainer Rafa Benitez is angry with his board over their lack of transfer activity during the summer.

Benitez has complained publicly that he is expected to "win the La Liga, the Champions League and the Cup" without any new players. The Valencia coach has asked for a new striker and a left-sided midfielder, but the club has failed in the summer market.

Las Palmas midfielder Angel was a target, but Valencia dropped out of negotiations on Monday because they couldn't afford his wages - further angering Benitez.

Valencia will begin to take advantage of their growing popularity in China this season.

The La Liga champions have agreed to become involved in the Valencian Export Institute to help push business interests of the city in four different countries with China being first on the agenda.

Valencia will receive around £450,000 to have one of their first team lead the party during the tour and there will also be a friendly organized against a local C-League team.
