They're back. I bought it at lunch and have listened to only 4 songs so far - but from what I have heard and read it is a very different album comapred to previous albums. More guitars and a harder driving sound.

It is also getting good reviews - and not just by me. :D

You know you want it. You know they rock.

They're not getting older, they're getting angrier and better.

Not too interested in the new album...but the Curiosa tour is coming to SBC Park. Weather permitting, it should be incredible. The thought of seeing the Cure play with the bay behind them and the fog rolling in is chill inducing.

We may not hear from Northside for a good six months so...if ever.

word. Post an address, we'll mail food.

I'd like to listen to it, but since I was always more of a fan of their softer, electronic stuff I think I might not appreciate this album as much as others.

I had my copy pre-ordered form Amazon for about the last two months. It shipped today, and it should get here by the end of the week.

Glanced at a review today and bought it sight unseen (sound unheard?) after I got off work.

I've listened to the whole CD once thru. Its good. Real Good. It won't be coming out of may car CD player for a year or two.

It has songs that remind you of Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, Disintegration, Wish and Bloodflowers.

My all-time favorite Cure album is Dinsintegration and then Bloodflowers. A couple more listens to this one and it may slide into #2.

The US CD has 11 songs and the Japanese version has 15 - I have heard that those 4 songs are stronger than some that made the US 11 - so I will have to find that CD too.

I got tickets for the Aug 14 Dallas show - its no SBC but it will be a great show. I need to get tickets for the Houston show the next day.

The Cure still has it.

Yeah, I think it's Disintegration-esque, too. I'm hoping these new songs sound as good live as the Disintegration songs did back then.

I've always been a casual fan, so Kiss Me,Kiss Me,Kiss Me is the only one I owned. Listened to this one today. The sound is a lot more spare. I like it, a lot. :)

Does any site have the whole thing up for a preview?

My favorite Cure CD is still Head On The Door. But I'm old. ;)

My favorite is still Disintegration, but I'll go back from time to time and re-visit Faith and Pornography. Head On The Door is really good, too.
