really? They were good for about a decade and that's it. How does that qualify them to be "top ten of the century". I would maybe put them at #5 if this were "clubs of the 1970s" but I'm pretty sure it says "20th century" instead so how the heck did they do the rankings?


Cruz Azul should be #1. They won the most titles AND they did it over a longer span of time (technically, they won a title in 3 different decades - the 60s, 70s, and 90s).

Saprissa had a few good runs in the 70s (although no championships) and then no one heard from them again until the early 90s...
