"Widely sought Vancouver midfielder Jacob Lensky has verbally agreed to a three-year contract with Scotland's Glasgow Celtic under-17 team after he was courted in recent months by England's Manchester United, the most famous soccer club in the world."

The contract has been verbally agreed because he can't officially sign a contract until he is 16. He will also become a payed player (professional) on Jan 1, 2005. Not bad for a 16-year old.

Does anybody know anything about this kid? Hes only 7 months younger than me. Man, im an underachiever....
I hope this kid is good. Has he been capped for Canada U-15, U-17?

There was nothing about him on the official Canadian Soccer website on any youth squads.

From what I know he has never made a CSA youth team or a British Columbia provincial team.
I remember reading an article a few months back that his dad wants his son to play for the Czech Republic someday. Jacob was born in Canada (as far as I know), but his dad was born in the Czech Republic.

He should be picked for the youth teams. Hargeaves defected because he said he wasn't picked for the U-20 team.

I liv ein Vancouver and i [played aganit him!!!
hes pretty good..but not to be cocky or anything..i got man of the match in the provinical cup semi final last year..we played his team..i thought he loked famailier..the guy wiht the accent haha
