What K meant to say was, "We can't let that dope Balonpie spend all day and night stuffing the poll for his own personal satisfaction!"

Hi K! See the last page of this this thread:
What should Dema do against dallas (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119275&page=4)
I think its kidn of pointless since someone over there created a computer program to ballot stuff.
Let em have this one. They might win a little battle, but they'll never win the WAR!

Not sure which is sadder, that they have to use a program to stuff the ballot or that even with that, Eski still has 43% of the vote?
Sadly I liked Eski's second goal better (not that the first was a gimme or anything, I just prefer the clinical precision strikes :)

He's still down 2700 votes or so, coming up on 20,000 cast. I don't think we'll be able to make it happen.
Thx,
Jay!

Dave,
I have to agree with you on that one! The 2nd was much more impressive, I mean off a free kick and wasn't even contested! Plus Kreis' little wuss chip shot, my grandma could have done better than that!

Can you get her a try out for DC? :D
(I kid of course... the Kreis goal was remarkably uninspired. Kind of like Kreis.)

She might consider coming out of retirement! Not only does she have a good shot, but like Dema, she brings some attitude to the pitch! I'll have to check and see if she'll join. We could always use a good Greek soccer player!

It's not a lost cause, keep voting.
Esky is making somewhat of a comeback.

Well, Esky got the MLSnet goal of the week. That's the "official" one, right? 1 for 2 aint bad. What's the deal with DC getting 5 of 12 gotw but sitting at 7th in the league in goals/game? I guess we're going for quality over quantity.

My thoughts exactly. The irony. We can't seem to find the net, but when we do, we win GOTW. Go figure.

85%-15%. It's a lost cause now. It went from 20000 votes at 2pm to 80000 votes now. Someone needs to hack that code, pronto.
Thx,
Jay!

Yeah, someone's pathetic, and worse yet, they'll get rewarded for it.
Both of Esky's goals, and Magee's goal are all better than that piece of crap ANYONE could have scored that Kreis has up.

ITs because they are not only ALL stuffing the online voting ballot box down there, but they also have someone who developed some nice little program that will go in and continually vot for thier player over and over and over and over. Thats why the vote total is so outrageoulsy high now. Esky was leading by 16% with 9000 votes at 12:30am thursday morning, then this morning it was up to 20K votes and a 14% lead for the burn hack. Now look at it.
Thats just real grand. How much of a ********ing LOSERS are they in Dallas? THey have to CHEAT to get one of thier players to win ANYTHING, even something as small as GOTW. Pathetic.

I find this a bit silly, given how frequently we make efforts in our forum to stuff the ballot box in our favor. Personally I think you're just a bit sore that you didn't come up with a ballot-stuffing program yourself. :)

Do we know when this poll ends?
I have someone who can do the same thing for us but probably not until this weekend which I am thinking might be too late anyway.
Perhaps it's weak to resort to that though...

Naa, not sore at all. I have better things to do with my spare time than to write computer programs that will stuff an online ballot box for a player on the team I support. Sure we stuff too, we might to back and vote 20, 50, or even more times.. but creat a program that votes 10,000 times? Have we resorted to that? I sure hope not. Effort is one thing, rediculously over the top is another.
I always thought D.C. United were well supported enough, and popluar enough that we wouldnt need to.

What they lack here is subtlety. Not only is the count so far off that i'm interested in Harksey's comment on it Sat night, but they are hitting it so hard that the FSW site is even slower that usual. This has all the markings of a "script kiddy" vs a real Hacker. But I guess we have better things to do with our lives
That would be a humorous footnote to Kries winning, but a burn fan(s) get arrested for a DOS attack. Maybe someone should let FSW know what is going on :D
Still funny that Esky is STILL ranking.
