Yes, there is plenty of room in the league. I'd like to idealy get 14-16 teams that way we all play each other once. Here's who is in so far.

Can anyone explain to me how this league will work? We draft and then what? How much of a weekly/daily commitment will it be because if it is a lot of work I might be out.

You draft a team of around 10 starters and 8 bench players. You then have the ability throughout the season to pick up free agents and place them on your roster. You also must make sure that the starters you pick for each week are not out due to injury or their team in on a bye. So keeping up with the news of the league helps a great deal. It's wise to visit the league home page once a day to see what players have been released, check up on your roster for injuries, and set up your team for the upcoming week. Obviously some people invest a lot of time in these leagues and others not a lot, but the ones that invest a lot usually win.
All I ask, and have asked from the beginning is that if you play you are going to at least keep up enough to field a team of players that are playing in games. Things like not knowing one of your fantasy starters is out due to injury, not playing for his team, or in on a bye that week aren't cool.

What happens if one of your starters aren't playing and why is it so bad? Also what if a player gets hurt during pregame warm-ups? What time of day is the draft because I have school?

Its bad if one of your starters doesn't play because he gets zero points for that week. And when the average week per player is 10-20 points, that can "give" a game away. And it isn't cool because if you are playing the #1 guy in the league I'm sure the rest of the players in the league would appreciate you beating him, and having a player start that has no way of getting points doesnt help.
If a guy gets hurt in pre-game warmups thats just bad luck. If the guy is hurt and everyone but you knows it and you still play him then its bad fantasy manager. :)
Draft is Saturday August 28 @ noon central.

Please, no friends for a while. It appears there will be space to ask a friend or two, but don't do it yet. An aweful lot of people said they'd join in and only 6 have so far. Whats going on people?

I want in...
I always play but usually can only find 1 or 2 people who actually stick to it all season, especially if they go 0-4 or lose their star player to injury. It is no fun beating up on total strangers or a weakened league where only half are still active in december.

Hmm, I think I could handle this. I've used Yahoo for the past 6 years for my other leagues so this could fit in nicely. No idea if you can PM me with the info or not, if not try zamphyr_masterofthepanflute AT hotmail. Or you could rep me and stick the info in the comments ;)
