What Govou get's on but not Gomis?!? Govou is just getting into form, while Gomis has been excellent all season. Don't understand. Maybe it's due to the roles they play. Didn't want an out and out striker? 4 goalkeepers? WTF Diaby again?! I've watched every single game Diaby has played in this season, and he has not shown me any reason he deserves to be called up to the national team. Astounding.

He scored a goal with Arsenal some weeks ago. If you score a goal in EPL, you deserve a call up. Cheyrou sucks

Ugh, four gks? Seriously? I can see the point of having three; with Lloris suspended for the first match, if something happens to Mandanda, there needs to be a backup. But I don't know, I'd rather have dropped that extra gk and picked up another attacker. Especially because the ones we have can be unspired at times.

P.S.: I will crack a rib in laughter if I see Domenech use Toulalan as a CB.

You know, it's not impossible to think he might. It could be the reason he brought Moussa in.

I honestly hope that Domenech benches Benzema for the next 2 games. His attitude lately is piss poor and he comes off as a spoiled child.

He had this to say about Claude Puel after having already admitted that he doesnt play as hard for France as he does for his paycheck.

So why is he complaining when he rides the pine. He's not an automatic on France and doesn't try hard enough to be one. Govou will put in twice the work he will.

The best thing Lyon ever did was to sell him. He's turning into another Ben Arfa.

At the expense of Ribery.....The guy has been injured all season. It really sucks. Now we're without Gourcuff and Ribery, not worried about the Faroes, but Autriche could be a pain.

gomis did finally get in as matt said...

without gougou and franck what we need is cheyrou! you know, the guy doing all the work for the star recruit of the greatest french team put together in our epoch! diaby my a**!

gotta have 3 in the 23 to be 110% sure of having 2 in the 16. my question is why douchez?

because Frey is blacklisted. :(

He's retired, and the lights are too strong at Guingamp, he won't be able to stop the ball. He has a paralyzed arm when the lights are too strong.

Domenech is completely dumb. I've just seen his interview about Cheyrou, he mentions that there is a lot of competition on his position and better players than him. Are you kidding me ? He's the only player with this profile. There is absolutely no competition for him. I know the trick, he won't pick him up now, and after the World Cup (if France reach the world cup:rolleyes:), he'll be too old to play for the national team. Domenech is again at picking 4 players with the exact same profile, very interesting indeed and now 4 goalkeepers what else ? Let's bring back Koji Jurietti.

Not to mention that, he's suggesting that Cheyrou should play well instead of running his mouth. Cheyrou never claimed anything, he has always been humble. Excuse me, I'd rather have in my team a player who offers different tactical options to your team than picking clones and I'd rather call up a player who is a key player at Marseille with Niang rather than someone like Diaby or someone playing for Toulouse with absolutely no pressure. Playing well at Toulouse and at Marseille, it's a whole different story.

It would have been Carasso, but he is still recovering from that backhand Payet gave him.

ok, here's my question: Raymond has said that's its crucial that France beat the Faroes by "as many goals as possible". What's his plan to accomplish these mysterious things named "goal" ?

Is he prepared to, especially with the absence of creative players such as Ribery and Gourcuff, finally field a starting 11 with only 1 defensive mid?

unfortunately, i wouldn't be surprised to see toulalan and both diarras on at the same time at some point. hopefully, it'll be after a big lead.
