I guess the sticky became unstuck so here goes another shot:

Did anyone watch the show "Especial" on Telemundo/Galavision/some-spanish-channel this past week? I have my Tivo set to auto-record anything with FIFA, UEFA, or MANCHESTER UNITED so I don't know which triggered it to record but it was the FIFA Youth Cup that United won.

I saw a few players I'd not heard of...

Anyone see it? They were waring FIFA 2003 bibs so I'm guessing it was last season but they had Kenny Cooper starting and Spector starting. Couldn't tell who the captain was but Keiran was wearing #11 hehe He's so respectful and thankful to Giggsy for all the years of support...

I didn't see it, and a search on the Tivo for "Especial" didn't come up with anything. Maybe we don't get that specific Spanish channel.

Despite wearing FIFA 2003 bibs, this was from May 2004 U-19 FIFA Youth Cup: http://www.manutd.com/news/fullstory.sps?inewsid=63219

anchester United have won the Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup for the seventeenth time with a 4-3 win on penalties over FC Zurich.

The tournament, held in Switzerland, was celebrating its 50th anniversary. United won the trophy in its inaugral year in 1954. However, this is the club's first triumph in the tournament since 1982.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Ben Collett, Ramon Calliste and Lee Martin scored the penalties to hand United victory after drawing 1-1 in normal time.

United looked to be heading to defeat after Zurich took the lead with just six minutes remaining. But David Poole popped up with the equaliser with two minutes to go.

United beat some tough opposition en route to the final; a 3-1 victory followed by draws against Besiktas (0-0) and Anderlecht (1-1) saw United needing to beat Barcelona to book a place in the final. The Reds duly beat the young Catalans 1-0 to set up a place in the final and subsequent victory. The show had the goals and all - it wasn't really a good show though....
