They are doing real well and I hope they beat Man U on their return with Tevez scoring the final goal.

I mean I read Kaka would have got £500,000 a week tax free, with him being bought for £100,000,000 and his dad being his agent

His dad would have got 25% for that fee and his dad would have spilt it with him. Also if he stayed for five years, he would have got one year's free wage AKA like Alan Shearer did for Newcastle.

Plus he would have been allowed to keep all the shirt percentage fees along with any endorsment deal for free

Kaka I bet you wish you went now to Man City, you aint young no more

One thing you have to understand is that Kaka is very religious. He's a devoted Christian and didn't want to go to a place simply just for the money, because that's not what th Bible teaches. Also, he wanted to always play in the Champion's League and City at the time was not doing very well. I actually admire him for turning down money for the passion of the sport and Biblical reasons. Believe me, I was heart broken when he turned us down, but I respect him very highly.

He had absolutely no desire to move for money. If Milan wasn't in a financial crisis (apparently) he'd still be there.

hes at real madrid... i dont think hes a fool nor do i think he will ever regret it, if he turned us down for someone like chelsea or some middle east club then maybe but if you want to compare RM to City, we still have to wait a few decades...

If City get in the Champions League then that combined with their sky high wages will see a whole load of Galacticos suddenly developing a yearning to move to Eastlands......

I don't think he's necessarily regreting his decision. After all Real Madrid aren't doing all to bad themselves.

Why was he a fool? RM are doing perfectly fine so far and City as well, but RM just has a little bit more history and image ;) However, I'm pretty sure he's earning a LOT more than he was at Milan, so if he really wasn't doing it for the money he should have asked for the same salary as he had at Milan. I think he didn't like the fact that City was doing crap and wouldn't play in Europe this season, that it's England and he hates the climate and that he probably already knew RM wanted to buy him. He uses the whole preacher boy image to make him look good.

Whomever started this thread was foolish for starting it. Kaka is a model professional and I wish there were more like him.

Good point hauler...

I guess City have allready won the league, FA cup, and qualified for next years CL right?

City will get hit HARD during the ACN.

Several of there players are ticking time bombs, just waiting to explode. every, EVERY team goes threw a bad patch, i can't wait to see how City handle it when there's arrives.

Adebayor + King Kolo + ..
..

Kelvin Etuhu ?

Two of our most important players, albiet one we have good backup for in Kolo (Nedum, Richards, Kompany) and Adebayor who we have proven we can win without in the lsat three games bar today. Yes, it won't be what we want but it's hardly 'HIT HARD'. You do realise that the OP isn't a city fan don't you Juanca?

Btw, who do you think are time bombs?

Several players are time bombs.

the obvious...bellamy, adebayor, heck, even kolo seems a changed man since joining the "$ity Revolution":p

I saw him moaning and groaning at his team mates yesterday all game. I never once saw that kind of attitude in his 10+ years at arsenal:cool:

Who sits when robinho comes back? either tevez or bellamy probably. RSC is probably fine with sitting cause he is overrated and is just squad matter, but at 100k per week, he'll prob keep his mouth shut.

I guess im just not convinced yet MVF, That city are a properly put together Unit, playing for one another, in search of Trophys or even a top4 finish ( which btw, only 3 direct CL spots now, so 4th is allways a difficult playoff now).

Moaning and groaning? What are you talking about? Any time a defender is trying to relay a message to his teammates its call "moaning and groaning" now? If he sees that they need to make a certain adjustment he should be communicating with them, don't be ridiculous and make it out to be anything else.

??

We only have two players going thats even if Togo qualifies... I'm sure we can find a capable central defender in the winter transfer market...

and then what come february?

lescott, _____, toure, nedum according to you? thats not realistic. I know your mega bucks allows you to think like that, but that leaves 1, maybe 2 guys UNHAPPY.

But whatever. Good luck city. I won't pretend that you guys aren't contenders with united and arsenal, i'll even go as far as saying that up until last year, i had a soft spot for you guys:p

MLSn00b

What exactly are you going on about? We won't really need another CB. If Toure leaves, Onouha or Kompany can fill in capably.

Ok.

I guess you guys won't face the problems that chelsea, united, and arsenal have been facing for years now.

But im sure, IF you guys are within a sniff of 4th place, you'll probably buy a handful of players in January.

I sense abit of hostility coming from you guys, as if im saying that you guys will crumble. Not at all, im simply saying that its a Fact that just about every club that loses Key players during the ACN suffers abit.

Im not worried about you guys at all. I think you'll ok, but i think that arsenal will still end up higher than City.

Not sure what the point of this is... but its simply having cover for your squad, not much difference than arsenal signing arashavin last year, it doesnt mean when cesc or roscinsky is back they will be mad as hell and cause problems, you just have to win your starting spot by working harder and playing better.

well if you put it that way, we dont have the extra european cup competition to wear down our players. we will suffer but we will have to see to what extend because even if both of them go we still have some options in fwd and i think Hughes knows he needs to sign another CB anyways
