I saw it last night and thought it was a very entertaining movie. Yes it is shameless, yes it is formulaic, but damnit seeing people drilled in the face with rubber balls over and over again just doesn't get old. (Think "Football in the Groin") Also I'm a sucker for a Vince Vaughn comedy despite Stiller trying to bring his Zoolander routine to the table. What this movie lacks in a well thought out plot and sharp writing it makes up for with neverending gags, physical humor, and hilarious cameo appearances. I give it 3 out of 4 stars.

We've seen this Ben Stiller character before...not in Zoolander...but as the fitness-obsessed owner of a fat camp in Heavyweights

Ben Stiller sucks! I see his bad hair, no talent, ugly mug show up on way too many crappy movies. I wish he would just go away. Who did he do or what kind of dirt does he have that he gets so many movies?

Bad acting? Don't care. I laughed my ass off, and so did my friends. It starts slow but once it starts, it doesn't stop. Maybe as you get older, you find it less funny. I'm only a few months removed from my last game of gym dodgeball, so I guess it hit home a little more with me.
Not the best line, but pretty funny:
"It's bigger than the World Cup, World Series, and World War II combined!"-ESPN 8(the Ocho) commentator on the world Dodgeball championship.
3 and a half stars.

Anyone else wondering when the "There's something about Mary" halo wears off for Stiller? Has he been in a good movie since "Royal Tennenbaums"?
It's like he was in one movie that was funny and he got a 9 picture deal out of it.
Stop the madness.

Ben Stiller's films since The Royal Tenenbaums (such a great flick):
Orange County
Nobody Knows Anything
Along Came Polly
Starsky & Hutch
Envy
It's evident to me that he needs to breathe some new life into his career. A cocaine bender and a stint in rehab might do the trick. Anyways, I just want to see something take him down for a brief moment so that Christine Taylor will leave him and run off with yours truly.

Saw it today, and laughed hard and out loud. The movie just chugs along until Rip Torn shows up, then it's a laugh riot.
Stoopid and really funny.

Meet the Parents?
That had to be about the most overrated "comedy" of all time. It was so stupid.

Loved it. Took the kids (It was Fathers Day, so I got to make the call. Option was Garfield) and thank goodness my oldest is 6 - so they didn't get a lot of the stuff. Of course, they loved the wrenches and dodging traffic scenes.
This was classic Stiller. IMO, the one where he meets his true parents (w/ Mary Tyler Moore and Alan Alda) is his best. If you like Stiller, this one's a killer.
There are so many funny lines, I don't even know where to begin. Okay, how about the last line of the movie:
******** Chuck Norris!

BTW, Christine Taylor deserves an Oscar for her performance.

that would be flirting with disaster - no one should miss that one - has the three you mentioned plus george segal, lily tomlin, josh brolin, patricia arquette, etc.
