Whomever we pick, I'd like to see Moyes go with a 4-4-2 to see how that works out.

I think there's a good chance that Saha and Yakubu playing together would make an effective and potent duo up front.

so far this has been crap long ball, scrappy, nothing much of note except that pompey have a lot of fire to try.

I'm sorry, but Yobo just doesn't make me confident. not at all. he's completely a mental player, as in, he sat one game - for good reason, resting in a busy season - and yet i think he'll be ********ed on the confidence side. ~shrug~ let's hope he proves me wrong.

I don't think I've mentioned that I've decided Round is cute and worth some love ;) doesn't hurt that he seems to be really helping Moyes out. I feel there's been a change, slowly but surely, in Moyes' tactics and that can only be from Round coming in :)

Tim Howard with a GREAT stop. pomp broke away, basically striker and yobo or distin (can't tell which) running towards Timmy. Pomp slightly in front. howard comes out and bam "eff you! no goal for you!" :D

Pompey is having wayyyy too much time/space in our half now. can't seem to get into the box tho.

ok, so we got to their end, they get it back and sprint, yobo gets it and whaddya know. a long ball. luckily, though they had it from that, we got it back really quickly.

Rodwell is having some good/bad points and by bad I don't mean terrible, just slightly off.

alright. corner from left, right back out for a throw. passed whole way across box. ossie sends in, felli heads straight to james. bounces out to our half where our defense has slowed it down.

Felli almost lost it, but did well to keep it. to peanut, to baines, into the corner nice cross, out for rodwell to clean up, settling again. ugh. long ball... saha did get it but terrible chance for him.
