Let's win this one and put a good hurting on them for last years 0-1 that cost us the title and Grinsemann his job.
Seriously I think we have a good chance at beating them in Hamburg. They are struggling with injuries and have not been in good form for their recent games.
On the other hand we seem to be hitting on almost all cylinder and confidence is high.

Woa, Goltv has it. Looks like they grew a pair for this match and wouldn't sell it to ESPN. Come on Ray Hudson. Get in a groove for this classic. What is the over under on number of goals scored? I'd say 5...

I'm kinda wondering about GolTVs schedule for Saturday. They claim the Bayern game will be shown live at 12:30ET. However, their schedule also shows that they will show the Malaga v Barca La Liga game live at 2:00ET. So...what gives? Our game will clearly not be complete at 2:00ET. Will they show the 10-15 minutes that remain at 2pm, or will they switch over to the Barca match leaving us hanging?

The timing on the replay at 11:30 is screwed up too...it does not leave a full 2 hrs. for the programming there either. Could they be so advanced to use a split screen, or are they just messed up?

I believe that they do not have their proverbial sh!t in a pile...:( My guess is that we get screwed with our game b/c EVERYBODY wants to see Barca play...

Its happened before with GOLTV and what most likely will happen is that the Barca match will be delayed by half an hour.
This should be an interesting match and I'm definitely looking forward to it. Lets hope we take the 3 pts!

What I have found out about GolTV's scheduling is they do NOT update their actually TV Guide schedule until Friday morning or evening.
Example: I set my DVR on a Wednesday to a generic TV Guide schedule with a 9:30am start according to the guide on screen. I had no time to double check later and so when I returned on Saturday morning to look online for the starting XI at 9am, I was shocked to see it was halftime already!!!
So what I learned is, don't go by ANYTHING GolTV puts online or on screen until the 24 hours PRIOR to matchday.
I am not happy with this but it is something I had to learn the hardway.

Eiss,
I am glad to hear that this is an issue for someone other than myself. I thought it was my cable co. as my DVR recordings on Gol were severely f'd up. This was not the case several months back...it has only been a problem for the last several months...I now set my Gol recordings the morning of the event when I first wake up instead...

Just look at the closet Ray Hudson and the others have to do their commentary in.

Wow, talk about a mom and pop operation.
EDIT: Oh yeah, about the game. I have a bad feeling about this one, HSV has been by far our bogey team for the past 3 seasons.

Just watched that video....
Actually, I think I gained a little more respect for their commentary. Their programming guide however, well fire that bastard that's in charge!!! :D
Did anyone catch Ray Hudson's interview at the end? Direct from the horses mouth:
"For me, the German League (Bundesliga) is THE most underrated league in all of Europe, some wonderful footballing teams in there."

They'll also be playing like a wounded dog...
But, I think we'll pull it out. But, won't be easy, that's for sure. Especially if Ze is on the pitch, which I expect him to be. He'll have an extra measure of motivation.

So glad goltv is showing the match! I can see them passing up the Bayern/Nuernberg (sp?) game but no way they could pass this one up.
