Tommorows game is going to be very interesting and it seems that the french will have an easy game while the croatians arent giving clues as to who will start after baric blew the switzerland games with abnormal substitutions and not starting the correct 11

For France the lineup will be
----------Barthez------------
Thuram--Desailly(Gallas)---Silvestre---Lizarazu
---------Viera---Makalele(Dacourt)---------
---Zidane-------------------------Pires
---------Trezeguet---Henry-----------

As for Croatia lineup it should look like this
-------------Butina----------------------
Simic----R.Kovac---Tomas(Simunic)---Zivkovic
--------Tudor----------Leko---------------
Olic--------------------------------Srna
---------------Prso--------------------
--------------Klasnic---------------------

Niko kovac is uneccesary-rapaic is too old to get away from the french defenders
we need to play the young guys
olic and srna are fast
prso and klasnic can dribble and get by their man
sokota is a box player maybe he should come on as a sub

but if the croatian coach puts in niko kovac, rosso or bjelica were dead

rapaic is running out of magic and he shouldnt start

The croatians will defend and rely on fast counterattacks--if desailly starts that is the weakness on the french team as well as barthez---jerko leko can shoot bombs from 30m--thats why he has to start and thus our players should get rebound shots

As for the england swiss game i reckon it will be a draw if not then the swiss might actually knock out england

After the former coach Ciro Blazevic (WC 1998) told coach Baric that he will have to change his team because his setup against Switzerland was a catastrophe (in the middle of a news conference) our team is under even more unnecessary pressure.
Now, I've read that Baric is talking about not starting Prso so that he does not receive another yellow. I don't think that he would be this silly, though.

It is difficult to expect anything against France, but wouldn't it be great if we could repeat what the Greeks did against Portugal?

French lineup for tomorrow

----------Barthez------------
Sagnol---Thuram---Silvestre---Lizarazu
---------Viera---Dacourt---------
---Zidane-------------------------Pires
---------Trezeguet---Henry-----------

gallas was exhausted after the england game, in addition we wont need 4 real defenders against croatia liza will take monar there 's no one on the left hand side for croatia so sagnol will be free to go forward and give his marvellous crossings :)

Butina
Šimić, R. Kovač, Tudor, Šimunić
Rosso, N. Kovač, Bjelica, Rapaić
Pršo, Olić

This seems to be what Croatia will play with.
Now, we only need a miracle.
Simunic and Rapaic are too slow so I don't expect to see much from the left. Rosso is playing vs Lizarazu and Pires on the right, so I don't expect to see much from there either.
Our midfield is pretty darn bad. that is why i predict:

CRO 1 - 0 FRA

This lineup is a joke and its been online the past few hours
We will lose a minimum 5-0 with this lineup
its gonna be a 4-4-2 or a 3-5-2

the defense is ok
but the midfield is a joke
Niko Kovac should not play at all---he is favored by Baric but he is crap---whats he gonna do get himself red carded
Bjelica-30 years old hasnt played with the core that long and couldnt create anything against the swiss
Rapaic---too old and out of form to start---he would be caught by the french defenders very easily(he should play the last 20 minutes tops--no way should he start
GIOVANNI ROSSO-YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME- 32 YEARS OLD,PLAYS IN THE ISRAELI LEAGUE AND HE IS CRAP--IT MAKES NO SENSE AS TO WHY HE WAS EVEN INVITED TO COME TO PORTUGAL-----

TUDOR should be put in as the defensive midfielder with olic and srna on the wings with klasnic and prso up front
marko babic should also be considered

babic-leko-klasnic-srna-olic(are all 25 and under--they can run and play the full 90 minutes plus they have a chance to show themselves off and go to a better club(olic, leko, srna)
Plus they have something to prove
But rapaic, niko kovac, bjelica and rosso are too old to play against the strong french team--they would get burned on every play

LET THE YOUNG GUYS PLAY--EVEN IF WE LOSE WE STILL WONT BE KNOCKED OUT

Butina
Šimić, R. Kovač, Tudor, Šimunić
Rosso, N. Kovač, Bjelica, Rapaić
Pršo, Olić

is it still possible that niko krajncar could be brought in as a sub.

I'm just not clear on why he wont start Srna at right wing. He didn't get yellowcarded in the first match and this is his natural position.

No chance for Kranjčar.

By the way as anyone read the article "borderline cases" on euro2004.com??????
Written by some guy Pawel Dimow....

One of the stupidest things I have read lately.
Well, to shorten things up, it says that Croatia are the team that enlist foreign players, with most players born outside their country, France are second, etc...
The author never mentions all of those players are Croatian people, born to both Croatian parents who just happen to live abroad,.

Now how can he compare that and France???

It's not that I have anything against France, or like i think Thuram, Desailly etc. are not French, I'm not that stupid. You are what you feel like and I think they are as French as anybody.
It just made me mad that those players are described as only the owners of Croatian passports, when in fact they are just as Croatian as I am, or anybody else.
Get the facts right man.

Mornar should be starting. He was bulldozing everyone on the right side vs Switzerland. Problem is he's only a 45 minute player.

Rosso should be a 80th minute substitute and nothing more.

Butina has his work cut out for him.

After yesterday's "religious expedition" to Fatima (where it is said that the Virgin Mary appeared), we will get to see if God is really a Croatia fan. :D
