Just saw this on soccerage:
http://www.soccerage.com/en/13/v2516.html
"The future is goal.com"
Anybody else gone there yet? The new site's Euro coverage seems good so far.

I been to the new site... quite annoying tell you the truth, everything is flashing all over the place, and windows pop up when you don't really want it to just to see a picture.
I liked soccerage.com, one of the few sites that covered the number of leagues that they covered. It seems that that is dead as they're trying to make it a profitable organisation by perhaps downsizing, I certainly hope they don't downsize too much..

i'm sure that when euro2004 ends, they will fill all that space with the usual news from around the world - to me, it just seems like a simple facelift

The original goal.com, which went out of business a couple of years ago, was a mixture of soccer news and semi-naked women. It appeared that they thought the pics would make their site more popular than other soccer news sites. It didn't work.
