With this, I bid you farewell my fellow Big Soccer Manchester City supporters ....

I have been much more happy with the BlueMoon forums lately and cannot stand seeing anymore rag adverts and promotions every time I want to chat about City. So I'm heading out of here.

I've been a Big Soccer user for almost 10 years now and will continue to do so, but mostly just for US Men's National Team stuff (after all, I AM a yank and American Outlaw).

I'll perhaps check back every now and again, but otherwise, catch me here:

Have been posting there for quite a few years as well Pazzmore. I am sorry to see you go. I actually continue to post here mostly for the matchday thread which is MUCH more like a bunch of boys at the pub debating the match (ie, smaller number of posters, actual direct discussion) than over at BM, which usually devolves almost immediately into a long series of declarations that are similar if not identical to those before and after it without real conversation because of the number of users on the thread. Most there are great lads and the other threads are very interesting, open, and informative, but for matchday, I usually come here for the "pub" experience.

Anyway, your presence'll be missed mate.

I second this, I hang out over there as well, but mostly lurking.

So true, after all over there you don't have to deal with many non-city fans encroaching on our discussions as has been happening lately. Anyhow, we'll miss you, but I understand completely.

Just fyi everyone, I've put in a general inquiry about getting rid of the rag adverts, we'll see if anything comes of it, I'll keep you posted.

Sorry to see you go but I can understand, the adverts are very annoying but probably automated by simple keyword-based systems. I imagine with our club's money we'll sooner or later start attracting the glory-hunters like so many on the Man U boards are, leading to more merchandise, etc., and more of our team's own stuff on here.

I don't post here as much as I used to either but am still around. I spend more of my time at the Vital Man City boards which are smaller than Blue Moon (where I occasionally lurk) but still busy and a bit more family-like.
