was not impressed at all, with the extra commentary and shat that people made it out to be(i remember somebody raving about how good of quality commentary was to be provided after & before the game) i was totally disappointed. I've seen a lot of games, and this one was jacked up... the four foogies (including schmichael which considering his caliber should not even be there) looked like they had nothing to talk about... what lamers... the actual match commentary was pretty good... but not that 15 min before and 15 min after, that somebody was raving about to be the best thig ever provided for $20.00 beside the game. I am so mad that i had paid to see a 1-1 draw, not only that but a freakin, lame sporting cast. what happened to SKY announcers and commentators? i know when i was in africa, it was presented totally differently. I guess when you are in the US you are presented totally the shistiest of all shisty football... since it's all about money...oh one thing you know we americans don't appreciate so much of the beauty of football - the females league just folded last year... due to money.. .- and ironically they won the cup the last two times! go figure that one!

The games are not an American production, nor is the broadcast. I guess you need to get the anger out, right? The American broadcasts are all managed by Setanta, a company in Europe, perhaps it's Ireland, I'm not certain of that. You can check their website if you want to complain. As far as I know ITV and BBC are providing the Setanta feeds for all of these games, not SKY. You can see their logos on screen if you pay attention. Unfortunately, American sports are controlled by networks where very few of the sports reporters appreciate soccer. The rest ignorantly make fun of it, prefering to extol the wonders of baseball, our so-called national sport. But money still talks and most of the money is still in the other major sports, not soccer. This will eventually improve as kids are getting into soccer at an early age and their moms prefer the activity soccer provides for them.

I think the Setanta production is decent, I mean, $20 for any one match is going to be hard to live up to. BBC commentators are no worse then what we here on ESPN or ESPN2 in the US..actually I think they are far better. Also, the analysis at the half and before/after the games is pretty inciteful I feel.

Please, I would take Ukranian commentators over any of the US commentators.
