Here is another reason I love my wife.

My cable system recent "upgraded" so we lost Fox Sports World. I decided that I was not paying the additional $5/month to get it and would suffer.

She decided she wanted to watch the Euro 2004 highlights and ordered it anyway.

My cable system recent "upgraded" so we lost Fox Sports World. I decided that I was not paying the additional $5/month to get it and would suffer.

On the same day my Comcast PPV didn't work for the France England game and I had to hit 3 bars before I could have the privilage of paying $20 to see just the second half. I returned home to find I suddenly was not authorized for Fox Sports World. I was "upgraded" and had been receiving it on a "fluke" for months, but had to pay $5 a month to get it back. Basically when Comcast were trying to get my Euro PPV working, they switched the lineups and FSW disappeared as did my MLS package.

However, I had Digital Plus w/ HBO, but I upgraded to Silver package (which includes one premium channel.) After all was said and done, the pricing stayed the same. So stupid....


My PPV didn't work for the France England game.
