Needless to say, I think RvN is being a bit of a crybaby. That was 60 years ago. Now...I vill hear no more insinuations about the German people. Nothing bad happened. Sie werden sich hinsetzen. Sie werden ruhig sein. Sie werden nicht beleidigen Deutschland.

It's not really new news. The Dutch have always thought of the Germans as huge rivals both on and off the field, partially because of what happened in the war. There has always been a sense of resentment towards the Germans, and any opportunity to play them is looked at from a historical standpoint as well.
