Thanks, that's what I figured.

I'd rather watch the home legs but it looks like good news for us, huh Spartak? :)
I remember back two years ago I got to see almost every match Milan played. I believe ESPN2 showed 8 of the 12 matches Milan played in the Champions League. But seeing 2 matches is better than seeing no matches. Some clubs you will never see on ESPN2, so it pays to be a Rossonero. :)

Now hopefully Milan can get through to the second group phase so we can see more Milan and less Real and ManU.

Amen to that.

Hopefully sometime in the future I'll be attending them in person. I'm seriously looking into moving abroad. You're not originally from Italy are you?

Nope, born and bread in the USA but as I think every Rossoneri will attest to I wish to move to Milan one day and watch every match from the stands.

Help me out here guys. I'm a little lost. Are these matches you guys are mentioning gonna be on ESPN in the US? Or only on those ESPN channels I've never heard of like ESPN DOS?

There will be one match on Tuesday at 2:30 PM EST each matchday on ESPN2 for the first 8 matchdays in the US. Thats it.

You root for El Tri and you never heard of ESPN DOS?

It's the ESPN2 in Mexico. Better yet, ESPN LA does not mean ESPN Los Angeles.

This is what I expect ESPN2 to show on Tuesdays then:
MD 1 Roma-Real Madrid(confirmed)
MD 2 Deportivo-Milan
MD 3 Bayern-Milan
MD 4 Lyon-Inter
MD 5 Deportivo-Bayern
MD 6 Ajax-Inter
Agreed, maybe Real-AEK on MD4
Really sucks for us followers of the Premiership (maybe Juve-Newcastle on MD3?).

My fear is that ESPN will put on Real at every opportunity they can. Remember last year when we were luck enough to see both legs of that classic tie Real Madrid-Anderlecht(No offense to Anderlecht fans) when Real had already qualified and the games were meaningless.

There will be no chance that Juve-Newcastle is shown ahead of Bayern-Milan by the way.

Followers of the Premiership can get 5 or 6 games a week, highlights, and news from around the league. Plus the occassional Champions League or UEFA Cup match.

What about us followers of Serie A? ;)

Too bad. I don't think this match will be as compelling to a neutral fan as the one played in Greece probably was. Of course, if you're a supporter of one of those two teams, congratulations.
