for TyC Int'l to show the games on a slight delay, unless they don't want its intl't viewers to be able to replace their in-studio (not in-field) narrators and commentators with internet radio.

Doesn't make any sense. Even streams are ahead of their broadcast.

Someone told me yesterday that the reason why TyC is delaying the broadcast is to have time to cover up the big banner that C7 inserts with the "Futbol Para Todos" slogan. TyC inserts the big banner with the results of the round to cover the "FPT" banner...

Which FPT banner? Is it supposed to be seen during matches? Because i don't see anything like that, except in the "info" of digital cable.

By the way, do they say "recovery time" on TyC Internacional?

Actually it is the ad banners for gov't ministerios and stuff. They occupy the bottom 3rd of the screen, so TyC inserts a banner to cover that 3rd with results and stats that make no sense until you know that the original broadcast has something there anyways.

Also we don't get to see the ads for other channel 7 shows that they insert on screen during games.

The delay is aprox 30+ secs ...

Weird, because in here when other channels show the highlights the only thing that's always present is the scoreboard, no Canal 7 logo, no ads, or anything else, some "try" to block the scoreboard but others don't mind, for example on Hablemos de Fútbol on ESPN+ they keep the scoreboard visible, in top of that under ESPN+'s logo it says EN VIVO if you don't know that those are highlights you could fall for it believing that they're showing a match live.

Off-topic, recently i noticed on the information on digital CableVisión that football matches in general are rated TV-G, with the notable exception of the spanish league and the argentine 2nd division which are rated TV-Y. Also, it's weird that they use any sort of rating like that, since those are pretty much unknown for argentine public.

Ugh, I hate the new commentators. They're horrible, lack knowledge, and make mistakes all the time since they're not even at the stadium (they're watching the match through a television screen, just like everyone else). What did we do to have to put up with them?! :(
