Is there a webpage or something that has a list of all the international team nicknames? For example: Australia are the Socceroos, New Zealand are the All Whites, Mexico is El Tricolor, Costa Rica are the Ticos, etc etc. Is there a webpage that has a list of these somewhere for all the nations?

Jealous of what exactly, having been put to shame by the French or having supporters arrested at every major tournament?

I thought the Tartan Army were the supporters and the team the "Bravehearts" (with royalties to Mel Gibson)
As for the US -- we really do not have a name. The press sometimes refers to them as "Team USA"

Australia are the SocceroosZeekLTK,
This name is in sync with other Australian national football teams based one of the country's great iconic animals & one of the two Australian Fauna symbols (the other is the Emu) on the Australia Coat of Arms.
The national Rugby League team is called The Kangaroos.
The national Rugby Union team is called The Wallabies.
The national Female Football team is called The Matildas.
The national junior men's Football team is called The Joeys.

www.concacaf.com and www.fifa.com occassionally refer to the United States in italics (which is how they do other country's nicknames) as the "Stars & Stripes". But I don't know if that's our official nickname.

-----I know of no such web page, sorry. This page http://www.colours-of-football.com/ has most teams' uniforms, though. By the way, Ticos is slang for Costa Ricans in general. I'm not sure if their team has a more specific nickname but calling a Costa Rican footballer a "Tico" is comparable to calling an American footballer a "Yankee."
