No problems at all. Everything seems to be running smooth. Having heard from one of the people interviewed about this... the interviewing was done many months ago, so not only is it inaccurate it's also not new news.

I read it as more of a recap of the problems that the Timbers had in getting a stadium than an examination of current problems. But then, I did just skim read the article, so may have missed a number of points making it seem like things are currently fubared.
Anyone know how Paulson is doing on getting the bonds sold? It's only two weeks until the October 1st deadline they set to get them all sold. I'm leaning towards the no news is good news motif.

I've had a Google News Search for PGE Park, and nothing has come up since that liberal blog wrote about how PGE Park isn't up to "FIFA Standards."

At the end of the month do a search, there should be more.

What exactly was inaccurate with the piece?

To start, where the club and the city are along in the process. That right there kills the thing from the start. I don't even need to get into it after that.

No, I understand why you say they're "along in the process," but where exactly in the article does it detail anything inaccurate? It seems like its an overview of the goings-on of where the process came from, and where it's led to as the deadline approaches. Maybe I'm missing something...?

The article is written as if the problems are still happening when they are not. If this article were published a month or two ago, it may have been applicable, but by coming out now its errors are in tense..

I'm curious on the status on the bonds if they are all sold since the deadline approaching this Thursday.

I assume we'll find out on Wednesday or Thursday the status of the bonds.
