Cocky??

I was under the assumption that it was a generally accepted fact that...

City Is The Most Powerful Organization in the Universe,

we can beat Manchester United, Newcastle United, DC United and United FC... at the same time!!!

What is the big deal?

No, you can't. You'll lose, I'm sorry. I don't like United, but you won't win this weekend.

Hughes' apparent rebuttal. (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5568408,00.html)

Likely to irk Sir Felchy even more. I can only hope we back up our rhetoric this weekend. I very much look forward to the match as I think it will be indicative of whether or not we have succeeded in creating a deep squad.

Rednose is quickly becoming the Kevin Keegan in this war of words.
He always seems irritated when asked about City, and he is hypocritical a lot of times. Hughes on the other hand barely looks ruffled

Yes, so was I. I'm sorry it wasn't obvious, I was parodying the people who can't take a joke. I should have put a ;) there

I don't care if we win or lose, just getting under bacon face's skin is good enough.

Let's put things in perspective.

We win, it's only 1 out of 38 games

We lose, it's only 1 out of 38 games

We draw, it's only 1 out of 28 games

Bottom line, IT'S ONLY 1 GAME.

I know there's a lot of pride behind it, but let's not get too emotional. Regardless of the outcome of this game, it's a long season and this will not be the be all or end all.

By Monday morning, all I want to focus on is the Carling Cup tie vs Fullham and the upcoming match vs West Ham.

Your so right.

When our objectives are as high as they are, losing matches like this, are not as near important as Beating the teams below us.

Fergie has repeatedly proven himself to be -the- most cocky, arrogant, hypocritical, crooked, two-faced piece of garbage in football. This is merely mind games though, our club is extremely modest when it comes to our immediate hopes and expectations - the club itself saying top 6 and most fans hoping for a little more - top 4 - but not expecting the league itself. The Sky 4-loving media is what pins the tag on us as title hopefuls (in an attempt to make us crumble under pressure so as to not challenge the status quo), if we someone DID win the league - which few of us expect - it'd be a joyous surprise but not something we'd all expected (this season at least anyway).

honestly, with the amount of talent on his squad in the past 5 seasons, a monkey could have been the coach and had the same results. i don't know what his problem is.

Wasn't aware Saha, Pique, van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov, Evra, Vidic, Fletcher, O'Shea, Van der Sar, Giggs, Nani, Anderson, and Park played for England.

Wasn't aware nondefined context was absolute and you have no sense of humour.

How is it undefined? He said that a monkey could manage and win with any team with a bunch of talent, I used McLaren with England as an example. Sorry, again.

He was talking about the amount of talent on Man United's list. No others. Then MC listed the players that England didn't have when you brought up England's 'list'. Man U's list > Englands 'list.

It's not rocket science boys :P

It doesn't matter WHO he was talking about, it's WHAT he said. He said that a monkey can manage a team with high talent and win, when it's obviously not true and a stab at regrettably the best manager in history.
