Interesting pictures and audio coming from ITV.
FWIW, I'm always amazed at how Setanta can ******** up a feed by dissolving away from pre or post game commentary early, or running that crappy looped music they have under legit commentary.
But I digress...
What was even more interesting was tuning in at 1:45 CST to see the pre-game show stretched across my 42" analog screen in 16x9 ANAMORPHIC!
********ing hell!
Then, to make matters worse, the game suffered from the ITV "sqeeze" where the sides would compress in, I assume, to include a graphic crawl at the bottom.
It's not surprising that Euro 2004 is being sent out in 16x9 as well as 4x3, BUT it's amazing to see that Setanta didn't have their feed sorted out ahead of time. Did someone not get the memo?
