Certainly seemingly to want a repeat.

I'm a junk sport nut(hello MLS) and if LA or Anaheim had a team I would be all over this league. But since they don't I think they can die their bloody death without me.

Any word on whether or not locked out NHL players would be allowed to play in this league?

My guess is that NHL players still under contract won't get in. See the free agents giving this an idea although most will likely sit out.

Some of the rules set out are no red-line, no-touch icing, touch-up offside and three-on-three overtime followed by a shootout.
They should call this league the XHL.

The no red-line is used in a number a pro and junior leagues and is used in international play. Same thing for the no touch icing.

The problem is that Crosby is likely to stay in Major Junior for now. Halifax, Hamilton, and Quebec City have to deal with tennants already in place. Toronto is entering a saturated market.

Sure, but 3 v. 3 overtime followed by a shootout?
I have a suggestion, if the game is still tied after the first five shooters in the shootout, they should have the goalies fight to determine the winner.

Here's my vote for the return of the Cleveland Crusaders. But they should play out of Cleveland,Tennessee. They'd be better supported than in Ohio.
If things are still tied after the goalie fight, then the team owners should duke it out. Or maybe designated team mistresses.

Butch Goring was named coach of WHA Orlando yesterday. Former Orlando Seals head coach Jim Paek was named assistant coach. Also, former Orlando Seals assistant coach and Miami Manatees head coach Zac Boyer will be an assistant coach.
