Because of good ol' dumb luck, I'll be in Barcelona for the Champions League match in November with Galatasary. Does anybody know how one goes about buying tickets for a match like this?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't know how the system works in Barcelona, but I reckon the ticket sales will start about 3 or 2 weeks before the match.

I don't think you will be able to get tickets a week before the match or later. That means you would have to look for tickets on the black market. Muy expensive!

Why would tickets at the Nou Camp be unavailable a week before the match against Galataseray?

The ground is usually a little more than half full for Barcelona early round Champions League matches.

I remember Newcastle played at the Nou Camp a few years ago, the attendance was just over 20,000 and Newcastle took 10.000 supporters.

You should easily be able to get a ticket for the Barcelona and Galataseray match on the day.

Its seems to be only English clubs that have 100% full stadiums for every champions league match.

Thanks Sheff-- that's encouraging.

Puma, you should go and I'll meet up with you there. Unlike you, I presume, I won't be rooting for either team, but I will be there alone as my wife will have to stay in with our baby.

thornwell, thanks for the invite, but i don't think I will have neither the time nor the cash to make the trip to Spain come November. It should be a good game with Mario Jardel, Barca's new striker, playing against his old team mates at Gala.
