Bavarian Derby is back!
Let's have at it.
I expect the same line up that we saw against Haifa with Gomez starting up top and probably Braafheid at LB.

I would agree with that lineup. I think we can expect the revolving door at LB. Pranjic wasn't overly impressive in Israel.
Anyone back from injury or suspension or Uli's doghouse or LvG's chastisement???
I would expect all three substitutions by the 75th minute as well... possible two straight away at the half.

My line-up:
----------------Gomez----------------
---Ribery------------------Robben---
----------------Muller----------------
--------Schweini----Tymo-----------
Pranjic--------------------------Lahm
--------Badstuber--Buyten----------
----------------Butt------------------
I prefer Pranjic over Braafheid, he offers literally nothing in attack and we will be playing a super-defensive Nurnberg team. I hope we break the deadlock in the beginning of the first 15-20 minutes or we might have trouble unlocking their crap 10-0-1 formation. If we do, we could be having a great goal-fest everyone will enjoy.

Don't expect Ribery to start. If he can't handle a whole match, I doubt he'll be able to handle a 2nd start in one week. if anything he'll play the last half. My bet is Gomez reclaims his central role, and Olic starts on the left. Otherwise same lineup as against Haifa more or less.

I too would take Pranjic over Braahfield. His performance against Haifa was much more steady than Braahfield's performance against Dortmund. Pranjic kept things simple and was reliable, which is acceptable for a player who is slowly adjusting.

Yea, I am doubting Ribery gets the start. No point in pushing him against lowly Nurnberg at home (yes, i know it is a derby, but almost every game is like a derby for Bayern as every team is out to get us).
Expecting:
----------------Gomez----------------
---Olic---------------------Robben---
----------------Muller----------------
--------Schweini----Tymo-----------
Braafheid------------------------Lahm
--------Badstuber--Buyten----------
----------------Butt------------------
I would prefer Pranjic over Braaf, but I think LvG is going to rotate them a bit more. Ribery on at half if it is still tied. Wouldn't be surprised to see Klose get some playing time and maybe *drum roll* Luca Toni!? (ok I doubt it, but maybe if we are up 3-0).

LvG may just play Mueller on the right and switch Robben to the left, multitude of options available really.

Klose has been playing way before Toni, so I'd give him some game time over Toni and start Klose on Tuesday while Gomez is rested for next week's Saturday match. Got to love rotation when you have so much options!

There's no shot at Toni playing at all saturday. He wanted to play with the reserves on friday, but LvG was wary of even doing that.

Just a heads up, GOLTV is showing Koeln v Dortmund on Saturday (the only Bundesliga match on Gol that day). If anyone could provide us with streams Saturday morning, it will be greatly appreciated. :D

I know, right?!! WTF is that!!!!????!!!!!
I mean there are better games technically than Bayern-FCN in the Bundesliga this weekend, and I understand that but to short-change the Bundesliga fans out of a game?
These GolTV pricks are getting on my nerves.

Whats worse is that there is a 2 hour gap between the end of the 9:30AM live game and the start of the first live La-Liga match with nothing but bullshit shows in it. Why not show a tape delay match during that time?

And for those without ESPN 360, ESPN Deportes has the game live. Yay. I'm not surprised at GolTV taking that Hannover vs Dortmund game. As we know now, ESPN took the Bayern match with 1st dibs, and honestly the other fixtures on Saturday are pretty weak. When in doubt take Dortmund if you can't get Bayern. The friday match and sunday matches are excellent though.
Really looking forward to Schalke vs Wolfsburg tomorrow. Sunday, league leaders Hamburg have a tricky match away to Frankfurt who is surprisingly frisky this year. And Bayer Leverkusen gets Bremen at home in what should be a goal fest. Hopefully, a chance for us to make up some ground on the leaders.

Screw GolTV. Seriously. But I am not shelving out an extra $20/month for Deportes. Its going to have to be streams, or extended highlights will have to suffice. Let's put this one away early, and not wait till we concede to actually start playing.
The suck fest that is GolTV is more than offset by the sheer awesomeness of the UEFA channels for the CL, which let's face it, is all that matters! :D

Really? I checked the schedule and saw nowhere that Deportes is showing the match.
