This 24 yr old kid is really good. Fast, skillful, calm, unstoppable ... damn. And I mean improved because he seems stronger ... but as "slippery".
It is not for today's game. He has been constantly scoring and forming a killer duo with Silva. One of those players that make you follow a team that it ain't yours.
Falcioni was the discoverer of Palacio. Will he consolidate Fernandez? Banfield paid 1 1/2 mill.
How much will he cost today?

That oriental duo upfront is doing wonders for Banfield.

Yep ... Silva's 11 goals is amazing. It is how well these 2 relate on and of the field what makes them unselfish all along. Even the planned celebrations are a motivation to score, regardless of who it is.
Fernandez hasn't scored that much this semester, yet his importance is silent and essential for Banfield's best campaign to date (short tournies).
The Curiosity: Lanus were champions for the first time at la Bombonera, 2 years ago. Banfield plays the last round at La Bombonera in this Apertura. Coincidence?

I grew up in Banfield and all my family is HUGE Banfield fans. I am really happy to see El Taladro do so well this year. Its true Banfiled is EL VERDADERO CAPO DEL SUR. "Julius Ceasar" Falcioni is doing a great job as always. Dar la vuelta in the stinkness of la boca for the first time would also be HUGE bonus for this River fan.
Yes, Silva is having a great year although I dont' see resemblance to Palacios at all, other than they both played at Banfield. Like you said Silva is much bigger and stronger than Palacios, he can hold off defenders and play as a sole striker while Palacios runned mainly down the sides and needs a center striker (a la Palermo) to complement him.

No ... I compared Fernandez to Palacio and you could somehow compare Silva to a younger Palermo.
Afterall, it was Falcioni who discovered Palacio. He is fast, sneaky, has goal. I really enjoy watching him play.
Btw ... what a golazo he scored yesterday!

Got it, for some reason I read Fernandez but thought of Silva. Cocaine is a hell of a drug....J/K
Yes I would agree. Fernandez is quite like Palacio. That game was very entertaining, very well fought in the beginning, much more open in the second half. Did you see that atajada that Luchetti pull off in the end of the game? I think it was a shot by Mesenguez... It was ridiculous.
